Thank you so much Birmingham!
Ant & Dec are busy bedding down with Keith Lemon as they get ready to hit Leeds for their latest Takeaway on Tour performance tonight! Fresh from their performance in Birmingham, the boys can't wait to get back on stage and share a whole series of sensational surprises with a brand new audience.
This Morning’s Alison Hammond and a whole host of celebrity chums joined the boys as their 34 date tour hit huge crowds in Brum. Alison was on hand to provide the boys with a tasty takeaway treat, pick up some fancy footwork tips from the Riverdance gang and generally get the lowdown on what goes on behind-the-scenes.
Alison also took to the stage to present a special award during the Birmingham live show, while Stephen Mulhern took on the role of star guest announcer and Ashley Roberts resumed her position as the Ant v Dec host. There was a live Singalong treat with the boys from Blue and Irish dance sensation Riverdance surprised the audience with a super special performance.
Lucky Georgie Eaton, 27, from Morecambe was randomly selected from the 16,000 audience to play Win the Ads Live and scooped the £18,000 Prize Pot. She took home a brand new Suzuki Swift car, a £2500 all-inclusive holiday from First Choice, a Samsung TV from Littlewoods.com, £500 holiday wardrobe from Littlewoods.com, a £500 Morrisons Shopping Voucher, £250 in a Nationwide current account plus a whole load of other prizes after deciding to take the gamble.
The Birmingham audience took to Twitter in their masses after the first of the three Birmingham shows had finished…
“Wow. What a night!” the boys said after the first show. "The audience absolutely made the show come to life in a way we never expected!
Thank you so much Birmingham!”
Takeaway on Tour will head on to a further 10 Cities, with Leeds and Manchester next to experience the live spectacular stage extravaganza.
