Ant & Dec scoop up at The 2013 Freesat Awards

Just a few months after their I’m A Celebrity... triumph at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards, the lads have only gone and claimed yet more honours!

At last night’s Freesat Awards the boys walked away with the crown of Broadcast Personalities of the Year after triumphing in a public vote.

It followed on from the lads success at last year’s ceremony where they took home the title for Best TV Presenters.

In the category for Best Live TV Programme or Series, chosen by a panel of industry experts and leading media commentators, the pair were Highly Commended for their work on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

In April, it was announced that their Saturday Night Takeaway, which averaged 7.1 million viewers, would return to ITV screens in 2014.

The fifth annual Freesat Awards hosted in London by comedienne Sally Phillips on Wednesday night to showcase and celebrate the TV that Britain loves.
