Text Santa raises over £4million

On Christmas Eve 2011, Ant & Dec hosted the finale of ITVs 'Text Santa' campaign which raised a total of £4,120,000. They co-hosted the show with Holly Willoughby but, before handing over the reigns, they revealed the results of their very own Bushtucker Trial where they took part in the audience favourite 'Celebrity Cyclone', raising £100,000.
The programme also featured guest appearances from Eamonn Holmes, Paddy McGuinness and Gethin Jones.
The money will be split between the nine ‘Text Santa charities’, which include Samaritans, Help The Hospicies and Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.
