Long-term ambassadors Ant & Dec hosted The Prince's Trust & Samsung Celebrate Success Awards in front of a 1,600-strong audience that included the Prince himself and the charity's founder and president.

HRH The Prince of Wales was joined by a host of celebrities today (12 MARCH) at The Prince’s Trust & Samsung Celebrate Success Awards, which recognise young people who have overcome issues such as abuse, drug addiction, homelessness and depression.

Actor Kevin Spacey, X Factor judge Simon Cowell, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry andlong-term ambassadors Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster-Stewart were among guests gathered at London’s Leicester Square Odeon to pay tribute to young people who have transformed their lives with the help of youth charity The Prince’s Trust. Joel Fields, 18 from Birmingham, won the Samsung Young Achiever of the Year Award. Joel grew up in a one bedroom flat shared with his mother and eight siblings. He experienced violence growing up, became terrified of confrontation, and was put into care aged seven. Joel took part on Make your Mark, a four-week employability programme run in partnership between The Prince’s Trust and Marks & Spencer, and is now responsible for the customer services department at a brand new store.

The trust is truly an amazing organisation that supports young people to achieve their full potential.

"We're very excited to be presenting The Prince's Trust & Samsung Celebrate Success Awards for the fourth time," said the boys. "We've been ambassadors of The Prince's Trust for 15 years now and are proud to support such an amazing cause."
