Ant & Dec are supporting the new Mission Christmas appeal - a nation-wide fundraiser in aid of local children and young people suffering from neglect and poverty.

The appeal is an initiative by Bauer Radio’s Cash for Kids, a network of local charities operating across 21 areas around the UK and featuring across stations such as Magic 105.4, Key 103 and Metro Radio.

Last Christmas, Cash For Kids distributed over £5.1 million in cash, toys and gifts and this year the campaign want to raise even more for underprivileged children.

Ant &v Dec are showing their support by endorsing a new collection by the bespoke jewellery company Clusters. The range includes pin badges, necklaces and charms, all featuring the ‘Cash For Kids’ logo, with profits from the sales being donated to Cash for Kids.

Ant said of the campaign: “We are both very aware of the need to offer young people support and opportunities to help them achieve their potential – whatever that may be. Cash for Kids recognises where these needs lie and gives that essential helping hand.”

Dec added: “We are delighted to be Patrons of Cash for Kids. The region is very close to our hearts and we are sure that hundreds of children will benefit from the generosity of the people of the North East.”
